Atlantic City's Mayor Langford set to announce more cabinet appointments
By MICHAEL CLARK, Staff Writer, 609-272-7204
Published: Dec 01, 2008

1:38 p.m. Update - ATLANTIC CITY - Mayor Lorenzo Langford plans to announce more of his Cabinet appointments today, according to a spokesman in his office. Langford, who took office Nov. 12, filled some of his most important positions in his administration the week after he was sworn in, including the hirings of Business Administrator Redenia Gilliam-Mosee and Solicitor Robert Tarver. However, there are a handful of departments the mayor is still expected to address, including Revenue and Finance, currently operated under interim director Alfred Borzi. Kevin Hall, an aide to the mayor, said Langford will announce the new appointments sometime Monday, but did not say which department directors would be changing. He also was unsure whether the mayor would hold a news conference or simply issue a statement. Check here for updates. See Tuesday's edition of The Press for additional coverage. More
